Dr Meg Warner responds to the Church of England Evangelical Council’s book – The Campaign For Equal Marriage in the Church of England

Dr Meg Warner is an Old Testament theologian and a member of General Synod. She recently wrote a piece for ViaMedia responding to the publication of a new book by the Church of England Evangelical Council (Glorify God in Your Body) which argued that the only acceptable form of marriage was the fertile sort between two people of the opposite sex. In a fascinating piece she argues persuasively that this proposition is a clear misreading of Scripture and a failure to follow the truth; such an approach needs weeding out from the Church.
